The Education Center St. Jodern is situated in a quiet and slightly elevated location on the outskirts of Visp – surrounded by nature and with plenty of space to relax. Our site offers more than just rooms and spaces: it is a place with a garden, retreat options and flexible self-catering.
Our garden
The large and well-kept garden behind the house invites you to read, sit, pause or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Guests can find peace and quiet here – surrounded by greenery, far away from traffic and yet easily accessible.
Barbecue area
There is a covered barbecue area with tables and benches in the garden. Whether school class, hiking group or family – here you can eat, chat and end the day together.

Cafeteria Jodru Stuba
The small, cozy self-service cafeteria is open to our guests 24 hours a day. It offers drinks, snacks, coffee and a space to relax or chat. Also ideal outside regular meal times.
Chapel
The simple chapel in the building is open to anyone looking for a moment of peace, quiet or reflection. It is accessible at all times and is also occasionally used for small celebrations or quiet reflection.
