Welcome to St. Jodern! The St. Jodern Educational and Seminar House, located in the heart of the Upper Valais, welcomes you.

The Bildungshaus St. Jodern is a place of meeting, conversation, further education, pause and refueling. Use our infrastructure for your business or leisure stay in Visp and stay in one of our 37 single or double rooms. For families and groups we have four multi-bed rooms with shared bathroom. Far away from the busy town, the Bildungshaus is an oasis in the green, which can be reached by local bus or on foot. For organizers of events, celebrations or seminars we have three conference rooms, a meeting room, a large garden and a competent kitchen team in our repertoire. Committed to our Christian identity, we offer a selection of our own courses every six months. Read about our course offerings, it would be our pleasure to welcome you to an event.

Educational Offer

Our courses are committed to the Christian message. We provide access to church traditions and to new forms of spirituality. Our educational offer in the fields of theology, psychology, ethics and culture is open to all people. In particular, the house offers training and further education for employees in church service. We work closely with the diocesan specialist offices. All our courses are held in German.

Events

Experience the peaceful and inspiring atmosphere of the St. Jodern Education Centre, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We can provide you with various modern seminar rooms for your meetings, conventions, conferences and club events. We are happy to cater for you during the breaks in our Jodru Stuba or in our dining room.

Gastronomy

We serve our guests a balanced breakfast buffet in the morning and our delicious 3-course menus for lunch and dinner. We offer the perfect setting for family celebrations, aperitifs, association events, company parties, birthdays, etc. We will be pleased to advise you on the composition of your favourite menu.

Accommodation

We offer well-kept accommodation, ideal for individual guests, families and groups. We have 37 single/double rooms with shower/WC and 4 multi-bed rooms with 8 beds each and WC/shower on the floor.
